Please note that to keep our guests safe during the COVID outbreak, we will be providing a deep clean between every stay. Our check-in and check-out times are now as follows:
- Check-in: 17:00
- Check-out: 09:00
BOOKING DEPOSIT & PAYMENT
A deposit of 20% of the booking total is required at time of booking. This deposit will be refunded if cancelled more than 43 days prior to arrival.
The full balance is due 42 days before arrival.
If your booking is cancelled more than 43 days before arrival, a full refund of the booking deposit will be made. A cancellation fee may apply if the booking is cancelled more than 180 days after the initial booking request.
For guests with existing bookings, please contact us directly if your situation changes. From family-to-family, we are happy to work with you on finding an alternative date for your trip if you are no longer able to make it. Please provide as much notice as possible.
Our cleaning staff provide a deep clean before/after each stay to ensure our guests are kept safe. Our check-in times have therefore been amended slightly (see above) to allow for the extra cleaning time. We thank you for your understanding here, and of course if you do need to leave luggage in the house you are more than welcome.
We allow well-behaved pets at The Homestead but ask that they do not use any uncovered furniture. Please ensure that all dog mess is cleared up at the end of your stay - an additional cleaning fee may apply if this is not done.
We charge a cleaning fee of £15 per stay for guests with pets. If you have more than one dog, please simply select 'one' on the booking form - we do not require a multiple payment for more than one pets.
CLEANING POLICY & ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE
Our housekeeping team will leave the house ready for your arrival with extra bedding supplied on request. Please ensure that you clear the fridge and cupboards on departure, and that all dishes and pans have been cleaned. For guests with pets, we require that all dog mess is cleared from the garden before departure. Please leave any used towels in the bathtub or the kitchen sink (in case of tea towels).
We understand that accidents happen and have an insurance policy to cover this. In case there is an accidental breakage or damage, please let us know. Your safety is of our top concern, so we will ensure that the house remains safe and replace any essentials where required.
