Wells is surrounded by country towns, with their attractive buildings, spectacular churches, specialist shops and weekly markets - all year round. Add this to an extensive list of stately homes, ornamental gardens, nature reserves, museums and family attractions and it very quickly becomes clear that Norfolk offers something for everyone.
Spa & Tea
A short drive from The Homestead, and overlooking Burnham Market's central green, The Hoste offers a standout spa experience where you can escape from the stresses of everyday life.
The Victoria Inn is the perfect location to take Afternoon Tea, after a leisurely stroll along the beachfront from Wells to Holkham.
Eat
There is a huge selection of delicious local seafood and produce available on The Homestead's doorstep. Wells offers a variety outstanding independent restaurants and hotels. Located just 50 yards from The Homestead is The Crown Hotel (part of The Flying Kiwi Inns), which offers excellent food both in the a la carte restaurant and the informal Crown Bar.
Towards the sea-front is Wells Crab House which hosts a seasonally changing menu, seafood specials and flawless hospitality.
